The second highest mountain in the Wasatch Range and a favorite for hiking and climbing.  Timanogos is a Paiute word for "river of rock".  Timpanogos Cave National Monument is the setting of spectacular underground limestone caves.  The caves are open May-October and require a 1.5 mile uphill hike.
